Cornelia Tessari, Monteforte d'Alpone, Veneto

In the heart of Monteforte d'Alpone, the Tessari family has a singular, uncompromising passion: the Garganega grape. Since grandfather Antonio hand-dug the estate’s cellar in 1933, three generations have refused to plant any other variety. The winery is now led by siblings Antonio, Germano, Nicola, and Cornelia, the latter named after her grandmother. This absolute dedication across time allows them to explore the infinite "declinations" of their land. From 12 hectares of high-altitude, certified organic vineyards, they craft wines that are pure expressions of volcanic basalt and clay. By combining manual harvesting with low-intervention techniques, the family produces a portfolio that ranges from crystalline sparkling wines to the historic Recioto, all defined by a signature mineral tension and floral elegance.
