Firriato, Trapani, Sicily

Founded in the early 1980s by Salvatore Di Gaetano and Vinzia Novara, Firriato set out to prove that Sicily’s native grapes could produce world-class wines. They expanded from Trapani to multiple estates, pioneering quality-focused, certified-organic viticulture across diverse terroirs.

Trapani hills (clay, red marls) Mount Etna slopes (sandy basalt, pre-phylloxera vines, heroic viticulture) Favignana island (tuff, sandstone, red sands, marine influence)

Nero d’Avola, Perricone, Grillo, Catarratto, Zibibbo, plus Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot
