Castellinaldo d’Alba, Piedmont

Teo Costa’s roots go back to the late 1800s, when Antonio Costa (called “Giobbe”) farmed vineyards, orchards, and livestock. His patience and fairness made him a local mediator. In the 1980s, his grandson Roberto Teobaldo Costa shifted the estate’s focus to wine, sparking a revival around Arneis, Barbera, and Dolcetto. Today, Roberto’s children Viviana Costa, Isabella, and Manuel represent the fifth generation.
